Thanksgiving. What a wonderful word! It's so simple, and yet so full of meaning. The word itself is easy to say, and perfectly describes the purpose behind it - to give thanks for what you have. Anyone can celebrate it; it's not a holy day for any one religion, nor a celebration for certain segments of society. It is simply a day in which everyone can stop the hectic schedule of their lives and say "Thank you!"
While I'm aware that the beginnings of this day are controversial, I firmly believe that the day itself is not. What could be wrong with reflecting on the bounties that fill our lives? Family and friends that we love; the communities in which we live; the schools and teachers to whom we entrust our children; food on the table; and yes, even the excess of Black Friday sales that seem to start ever earlier on Thanksgiving Day! I am grateful for all of these, and so much more!
So please, in between the turkey, football, sales, family bonding (or fights), take a minute to whisper "Thank you," to whomever or whatever you believe in. Or maybe just to the universe in general.

So here I am, starting this new business, not sure what exactly I'm doing. Hoping people will want to create special memories for the special, or every day, times of their lives.

I started doing these DVDs when my kids were in elementary school. At the end of each year I'd gather as many photographs and videos as possible, add music and fun graphics, and create a retrospective of the year. Watching the teachers, students, and parents enjoyment inspired me to start my business.
